Kappeberg Lodge, apartment on the slopes

Kappeberg Lodge is one of the WinterbergNu apartments in Winterberg. It is a spacious and modern apartment and suitable for 8 people in 2 bedrooms.

Location

It is located at the foot of the Kappe (Kappeberg) and therefore within walking distance of the lifts and slopes on the Kappeberg. With sufficient natural snow you can ski right up to the front door. The ski rental is also 100 meters away. Across the road (about 300 meters) is the ski school Semmler, which is in the same building as the ski hut Schneewittchen and located on the Schneewittchen piste.

Within walking distance you will also find various catering establishments such as the Panorama restaurant, the Bobhaus, Schneewittchen ski hut and Big Mountain restaurant.

Furnishings and layout

The apartment is luxuriously and robustly furnished with lots of wood and leather. The living room has a spacious dining area and a sitting area. There is a kitchen with everything you need such as dishwasher, combi oven / grill with microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, hob and a Nespresso machine. From the living room you can go to one of the two covered terraces (with patio furniture)

There are 2 bedrooms each with 4 beds. Bedroom 1 is located at the back with access to the second covered terrace. This bedroom has a spacious double bed and a bunk bed. Bedroom 2 is located at the front and has a huge 4-person bunk bed, consisting of 2 superimposed 2-person beds. This is usually a favorite with families with children.

Skis and ski boots can be stored in the hall

Parking

There is 1 reserved parking space in the parking garage under the building. Additional parking is at the general car park P3 across the road (250 metres)

What else can be found near Kappeberg Lodge

The Kappeberg is primarily a mountain where many sporting activities take place and is also called the ' Erlebnis Berg Kappe' . There is a climbing forest, a mountain bike arena and a bike park . There is also a playground for the little ones, a mini-golf course and 'Kiss the sky' trampolines . You will also find one of the summer toboggan runs and the Erlebnis Brug with which you can walk over the treetops. One of the newest additions is the zipline with which you float in a harness via a track through the forest over the mountain, or you can take the ski lift from the bottom of the Kappeberg to the top.
