What time can I check in and out?

Our standard check-in time is between 4 - 5 PM. We understand that this is not always possible. If you prefer to check in at a different time, we can see what is possible in consultation. Send us a text with your name and check-in date and your question.

Check-out is possible until 11 am. After that we need time to prepare the apartments for the new guests.

What are the arrival and departure days

You can check in on any day (except public holidays). The minimum number of nights to be booked for the reservation is two. In certain periods, eg during public holidays and the Christmas holidays, the minimum number of nights to be booked may be different.

From what age do children pay?

Children aged 3 and older pay 10.00 per night for the stay. Children aged 1 and 2 are counted as infants and are free of charge.

With how many people can we stay in an apartment

The apartments can accommodate up to 8 people aged 3 years and older. There are 8 beds per apartment. Children under 3 years old can join per group of 8 people.

Do we have to bring our own sheets and towels

No, we provide bed linen, towels and kitchen towels. We also make the beds for you.

Are there additional costs such as cleaning costs upon arrival or departure?

Everything is included in the price. You do not pay any extra cleaning costs, nor do you pay for bed and bath linen. You don't have to pay extra for the WiFi either. This is all already included in the price you paid.

How can we check in or where can we get the key?

We personally check in our guests. This way we have the opportunity to show and explain everything and answer any questions. We can also give tips about the area. That is why it is also important to know the correct check-in time so that we are there on time to check you in. Please let us know by text what time you will be there.

How far apart are the apartments?

The apartments are about 600 meters apart as the crow flies today. This is useful to know for group bookings that want to book 2 apartments.

In which part of Winterberg are the apartments located?

The apartments are located just outside the center and at the foot of the Kappeberg next to the slopes and ski lifts. The bike park, the bike arena and the sporting activities on the Kappeberg are also right next door. Many walking and cycling routes pass by or go over the Kappeberg. The center of Winterberg is 1500 meters away. An ideal location for the holiday.

What are the costs for city tax in Winterberg?

Everyone aged 16 and older pays 2.50 (2023) per night. We collect the tourist tax for the municipality of Winterberg and pay it afterwards. We are obliged to digitally register all persons on the booking with the municipality. That is why we have all the names and ages of everyone who will stay in the apartment filled in by the booker

Are there arrangements

There are regular arrangements. In any case during public holidays (eg Easter, Ascension Day, Pentecost and Christmas holidays). In addition, there are regularly other arrangements.
